Tuesday, 31st of July – Els Amics de les Arts
Catalan pop group concert at Teatre Grec
This Catalan pop group takes us on a journey inside ourselves to discover, in songs, the unknown and unclassifiable beings that live… within our own lives.
Language exchanges, Commander Cousteau, an architect planning an impossible house… What do all these have in common? Well, they all inspired songs on the latest album by Els Amics de les Arts. In this new release, whilst retaining the festive, happy air of their music, the group clearly mature, becoming more thoughtful and tipping their caps to icons in the pop world, frequently French artists. The result is an album that sounds great, not only on the dance floor, but also on the sofa or… live at the Teatre Grec. At this concert, the group will play twelve songs (and maybe more) that are twelve emotional adventures featuring vocal prowess, strings, brass.
